Welcome to Boho Wildflower Vegan Blog!
Hi there, and welcome to my blog! I’m LaShae Baugh, and I’m thrilled to have you here. You may be asking yourself, what does “Boho Wildflower Vegan” mean?
“Boho” is short for “bohemian,” this term originated in the 19th century and was associated with artists, writers and musicians who lived outside the norm of mainstream society, embracing creativity, individuality and a love for nature.
“Wildflowers” are flowering plants that grow naturally in the wild rather than being intentionally planted or cultivated by humans. They are known for their resilience, beauty, and role in supporting biodiversity, as they attract pollinators like bees, butterflies and birds. Example of popular wildflowers include daisies, bluebells, poppies, sunflowers and lupines. These flowers often symbolize freedom, natural beauty and a spirt of resilience.
“Vegan” is someone who follows a lifestyle and diet that excludes all animal products. This includes not eating meat, dairy, eggs, and sometimes honey. Vegans choose to eat plant-based foods such as fruits, vegetables, grains, nuts, seeds, legumes and plant-based alternatives to dairy and meat.
Boho Wildflower Vegan was created as a safe space to fill up on encouraging spoken words, poems and hearty healthy vegan soul food recipes. Meet LaShae Baugh: Vegan Author
Hi, I’m LaShae Baugh, a Vegan author who’s been dedicated to the plant-based lifestyle for the past 8 years. Since I can remember I wrote short stories and in my teens I began writing poetry. My journey to veganism began after struggling with hormonal and digestive issues, which led me to try the elimination diet. It was then that I discovered veganism offered me the freedom and health benefits I was looking for, and I’ve never looked back. My husband, who works in the fitness industry, went vegan to support me when we were dating, and now we’re both thriving on this lifestyle together. We’re 80% plant-based, soy-free, and always finding new ways to pack protein into our meals.
